This song grabbed my attention right away. The vocals were distinctive and well-delivered, and I really liked the catchy refrain “pain in my brain”. Musically, the song was fairly simple, but well-crafted so that it had an identity of its own, not like most other songs out there. I thought the production was very good. The guitar solo was just great, too, both in composition and tone! I also liked the little rappin’ part in the middle of the song before the guitar solo. It gave the song a touch of the modern and a distinctive feel. And what struck me most was that I wanted to hear the song again when it was over. That’s exactly the reaction you want from a listener.
